Ecocide Talk

Mon 30 Apr 7:30pm - 9:30pm

Primrose Hill Community Library
Sharpleshall Street

Ecocide is the destruction, damage and loss of ecosystems. Ecocide is happening on a mass scale and is getting worse day by day. We can change this - by making it a crime!

An international law for Ecocide would make CEOs and our Heads of State legally responsible for the Earth. People and the planet would become the number one priority. Ecocide is part of Earth law, a new body of law we need to protect the Earth.

Polly Higgins is the lawyer who has found a way to make Ecocide illegal so as to encourage big companies to alter their priorities. She will be talking about Ecocide at an event organized jointly by the Camden Transition Towns: Primrose Hill, Belsize, Bloomsbury, Dartmouth Park, Hampstead, Highgate, Kentish Town and Tufnell Park.

Looking forward to hearing about this exciting new way to protect our planet
