Of butterflies and bees...let us plant a beneficial mini Spring or Summer on your lawn.

As we approach the end of September it's the last chance to be thinking about sowing any lawn seed before the Winter sets in. But why lay just a traditional grass lawn? We would like to urge all of you to turn a section of the lawn over to create a fragrant pollinators Lawn.

Or how about putting in plug plants (through October) to create a mini Spring wildflowering meadow which is mowed in July and November - filled with Cowslip, Oxedaisy, Stitchworts... or  a Summer meadow cut in April and November  - filled with lovely, beneficial flowers such as catsear, ladys bedstraw, meadow vetchling, clovers, scabious...

Need any inspiring ideas for your making your lawn more beneficial...
